"Portofino
is a housing complex in northern Montréal for independent or semi-independent seniors and retired persons. I offer a service of availability to people living in the complex, and especially those who are experiencing difficulties. By giving my time, I hope to bring a little hope into the hearts of people who need it. |

| "Teenagers who
have been wounded in their very first relationships need someone who believes strongly in them and who has faith to help them! When I was barely out of adolescence myself, I began helping young women who find it difficulty. Now, Thematic Design Workshops help them find ways to express their pain. If you would like to know more on this subject, you can find three articles on the Internet (www.mtl.centresjeunesse.qc.ca) that illustrate how teenagers are finding new hope. I am very happy in supporting adults who are searching for meaning in their lives and who are turning in new directions. At every age, life poses great challenges." Sister Paulette Brisson |

"As a nurse by training, I am still able, even in retirement, to help young mothers and their babies. Many are single mothers and most of them are on welfare. |
