Toronto, Good Shepherd Court Community of Sisters is one of the main houses in the English speaking region of Canada

The main ministries of this community are:

Elder Care: In this community of sisters the Support, Assistance and Care are provided for elderly and retired sisters of the province.

House of welcome and hospitality for the poor and for those in need

Ministry of prayer and Tele Presence - through listening and supportive caring,

Vocation promotion - for information see Vocation - becoming a Sister

Sharing Fair - A project to better the lives of women in developing countries,
for information see Partnership with Lay People

Ministry to the extreme poor - helping the newly arrived immigrants to establish themselves, offering them the required volunteer work with respect and
valuing their dignity as unique persons. Helping the new comers with spiritual and material needs.

Ministry to the homeless in Toronto - The Sisters in collaboration with volunteers and Lay Associates provide support, food, clothes and warm clothes to the homeless. Through this ministry they bring the presence of Jesus to the people who are poor forgotten and abandoned.

Support program for small groups - Spiritual Direction, Spiritual Support and
Evangelization

Lay Associates - This Association is made of two language speaking groups, namely English and Spanish. They try to live the Mission, lasting Legacy of Saint Mary Euphrasia Pelletier the Foundress of the Sisters of the Good shepherd, in their own milieu. For more information see Associates.

Companions - This is a group of lay consecrates or "Companions of the Good Shepherd". They try to live the Same Mission, lasting Legacy of Saint Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, the Foundress of the Sisters of the Good shepherd, in their own milieu.

We are five sisters and the main ministry of the community is for formation of new members to the Congregation. The formator through her ministry prepares new members to be incorporated into the religious congregation.

The sisters in the community are also engaged in other ministries and they are:

Ministering to the homeless of Toronto

Ministry of Tele-Presence, which offers supports over the phone to the elderly, the sick and needy families

Ministry of prayer - Supportive prayer group of women who meet to pray, reflect and share experiences. This group also contribute to the missions through prayer and monitory donations.

Hospitality - offering welcoming hospitality
